Type of Rpg: Varies on the rper, but I have attempted to accomodate most types known to me of rpg. There is freestyle, storyline, private, dungeonstyle, & Charastyle.
Freestyle: In freestyle, you rp as if you would in a chat room or actual dungeon a dungeons master would be creating for you to adventure in with other members of the forum. Your created character Roleplays with other member's characters, you & the member's you are roleplaying with make the adventure. Now as Admin/Dungeon Master (those of you who play Dugneons & Dragons are familiar with the term) I will have a few non-playing character or NPC monsters & characters to just pop in to make the story interesting for you. For example: Mercenaries & Assassins, I find I have a few I may send you on a few paid mission to assassinate someone or something, Thieves & Rogues, I may require your tactile skills of slight of hand for a few characters that need something stolen or stolen back for them, Bards & Gypsies, The tavern can ALWAYS use fresh talents, ECT.This is OUR story to design & curve the way we & the other's we roleplay with see fit. Come join, The dungeon doors are always open for the adventurer's to travel at DreamFyre: Secrets of Twilight!!!
Private: private rpg is simple. Private rpg boards are only created at members request to the administrator or co-administrator of the board. These boards are password protected & only accessible to the members who have the password. These are private rpgs for onlly certain people. These boards are a pretty much unruled rpg, by this I mean any sexually explicit or extreme use of foul language is allowed in these boards because it is only certain members capable of seeing them. Now, however, upon requesting a private board from the admin or co-admin you must sumbit in personal message reason for requesting it. It is up to the admin if they believe it is a good reason to have the private board created. These boards are not to be used for exchange of personal information AT ALL! These boards are not to be used to find members & if I find this the case your board WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT WARNING! I will simply send you a message with a reason & a warning that any further issues will resort in termination of your account!!! So come join in some personal rpg at Dreamfyre: Secrets of Twilight!
Storyline: Storyline rp is based off a history I or another member has created for rpg. It is up to you & a group of characters to come up with a storyline, post the stroyline, the character positions available to be played, then have other members assigned to roles in the storyline to rpg the storyline. It is very important to post a storyline & positions to be filled so everyone knows what the story is about & what role they play. So Come adventure in your created stories atDreamFyre: Secrets of Twilight!!!
Charastyle: Character app is the same as freestyle except that a MANDATORY Character application is to be submitted to rpg in that section of boards. Deviation from that character is not allowed. You can only play one character app at a time in these boards to avoid confusion. I will have several Character App sub-boards to allow for multiple character apps. You cannot have one character from another section of the character app boards join a different character app sub-board! This is to avoid God-Moding & power-playing on top of avoiding confusion considering the fact that you have 1 account with mutiple characters on it, well it can get hard for others to keep track of who they are rpging with.So Come adventure in the characteristic freestyle atDreamFyre: Secrets of Twilight!!!
Dungeonstyle: This is much like storyline rpg except the storyline is created by the administrator ONLY & for those of you who are familiar with games like Dungeons & Dragons, Vampire The masquerade, & Werewolf The forsaken....this form of rpg will be very comfortable for you. The administrator or well the Dungeon Master account was created specifically for this reason by the admin. The dungeon master or DM creates ther storyline & has members submit their character apps & figures them into a storyline to play out much like an actual Dungeons & Dragon campaign or adventure! So Come adventure in the chaotic world of Gaia atDreamFyre: Secrets of Twilight!!!
